Following a trip to Portugal in May to play The Sinking of the Titanic at the Chapitô Theatre
in Lisbon, Kesselofski and Fiske will be producing a new short play to be performed in the
café at Reginateater in the autumn. For more information watch this space.
They will also be returning with the hugely successful Oldies But Goldies for a limited run in
October. Combining songs from the 60’s with humour, this will be the same show that played
to packed houses earlier this year. Oldies but Goldies 2 – as the title hopefully suggests – will
be a logical continuation from its predecessor. 22 new songs in a similar but entirely new
show. Oldies but Goldies 2 is to open in the spring of 2011.
Other projects include a week’s workshop and drama course for young people to be lead by John Fiske in June and a show about Bluffen, a nightclub in Uppsala in the 1940’s, to be directed by John and to play at Reginateatern in October. Paul will meanwhile continue to see that the Reginateatern runs smoothly.

Paul
Kessel and John Fiske first met in 1974 on a
football pitch in Liverpool (7.84 Touring Company
v the Everyman Theatre 1-3) and took an immediate
dislike to each other.Despite this, a year later
they both became members of the Belt and Braces
Roadshow Company
(Paul played bass and sang, John played guitar and
wrote the music) Following several tours of Sweden
with Belt and Braces in the late seventies, Paul
met someone in Sweden...well he became
romantically attached actually....
and she had a friend and..well to cut a long story
short they both moved to Sweden in 1981.
